@Towson_MBB Finds New Way to Release the 2012-2013 Schedule

The Towson University, my alma mater, Men's Basketball team is coming of a 1-31 season. Highlighted with ending a Division I record 41 game losing streak; the Tigers need to start thinking outside the box. @Towson_MBB released their 2012-2013 non conference schedule in an unconventional way - the head coach's twitter. As a tiger fan, gluing myself to @CoachPatSkerry twitter account was the most excited I have been about Towson Basketball in years. Rather than just reading the generic Athletic Department release, Tiger fans were able to build excitement for a fresh start by hearing from @CoachPatSkerry himself. Reactions from across the twittersphere and message boards seemed to love the idea. Now I can just hope this unconventional schedule release leads to something else that has been unconventional for Towson….#Winning!#UpRoar
