"When to post?" is often an overlooked part of developing a social media content strategy. Frequently organizations post to their social media networks around the clock. I do this myself. After all, we want the opportunity for as many people as possible to see our information and to share it. Especially since audiences are built by sharing important and relevant thought leadership information – a basic principle in content marketing.
The next question we should ask ourselves is, "how do I get the most eyes on my content?" Businesses must measure the impact and reach of their posts, which is done through analytics and monitoring, to find that answer. Luckily, from years of trial and error coupled with many trusted social media marketing resources – that hard work was done for us. Recently Social Times shared Social Caffeine's infographic, "The Best and Worst Times to Post on Social Networks" with data from many sources including Mashable.
