Goodbye {param2}

adCenter rolls out Capitalization for Dynamic Keyword Insertion (DKI)

SEM Coordinator

Microsoft Advertising, currently going by Bing, recently announced adCenter will recognize the capitalization functionality of Dynamic Keyword Insertion (DKI) we are familiar with from AdWords.

adCenter recognizing the intended capitalization for DKIs means one thing for many Bing PPC advertisers, GOODBYE {param2}! For years using the {param2} placeholder has been the only way to control the capitalization when dynamically inserting text into Bing ad copy and headlines. The time needed to properly set up {param2} was many times not worth the effort; leading to less customized ads running in Bing. Well, that pain is no more, so enjoy your new customized DKI Bing ads and the extra free time from never having to use {param2} again!

Now, If only we could use Sitelinks in adCenter…..
